Why the Butterfly?
She embraces change, never questioning the process of her short yet beautiful existence. Symbolically she represents change, transformation, going through her short life process without question, emerging from her cocoon in all her brilliance. I know of no one who has not sat in wonder at the Beauty of one of Natures' most fascinating creations. She asks you not to question your existence, but embrace it as a wondrous unfolding of Life.
I had the opportunity in my travels to go to The Butterfly Palace and Tropical Rain Forest in Branson Missouri. It is home to thousands of Exotic Butterflies. They know no fear, enjoying the interplay with humans and their man made environment. As they landed on me, I stood in awesome wonder, touched by the Essence, the Spirit of the Butterfly. She dances to the rhythm of her Soul.
